Good starter system for the kids, X-10 home control station, printer sharing station, or "geek station" that can run NetBSD Unix! Still works well as a smart terminal, or a kids computer. It was the terminal to my Cisco 1605-R router and a sharing box for serial printers for a few years, and worked well. Logic Board, PRAM battery, VRAM simm, RAM simms all replaced just before shelving, meaning low burn time on this machine and it's components.

What this package includes:
Included for no particular reason. Mabye you're a tinkerer and want to mess with it. Mac LC II motherboard, intermittent startup. Includes 256k VRAM simm verified working. Also includes 2 strange 4mb 30pin simms - they work individually or with other simms, but won't work together. Go figure.

25mhz 68030, Maximum RAM (12mb actual, 10mb max addressed), 512k VRAM (256 colors at 640x480), 40mb HD, OS 7.6.1 installed. Mouse included, Keyboard NOT included.
2) 2 extra 40mb. 3.5" SCSI drives.
Expand storage, or use to install "alternative" Operating Systems, like NetBSD.
3) Hayes 14.4 Fax/14.4 Data modem, Fax software (photo)
Nobody that I can think of (except AOL???) supports or even cares about 14.4 data dialup, but Faxes are still sent at 14.4 making this a thoroughly current fax modem! :-p Included to help make this system into a ready-to-run fax server. Cable, power adapter, software, manual included.
4) *WITH LOCAL PICKUP ONLY* AppleColor 13" High Res RGB monitor.
Monitors are too heavy to make them cost effective to ship, therefore the package only includes the monitor if you are able to come pick up the system in the Hollywood/Los Angeles area. This is the old workhorse of the Apple monitor line.
